1. Using SHGeshop

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account, contact and delivery details.
• You agree not to misuse the platform — including fraudulent orders, scraping, or interfering with SHG storefronts.
• We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse or repeated payment failures.

2. The products

Every product on SHGeshop is handmade or home-processed by a verified Self Help Group or woman entrepreneur. Because of the handmade nature:

• Slight variations in colour, size, texture and finish between units are natural and are not defects.
• Product colours may appear slightly different on your screen depending on display settings.
• Food products are prepared in SHG kitchens in accordance with their FSSAI registrations; please check ingredients and allergens on the product page before ordering.
• Where a product page lists specifications, those specifications govern the product.

3. Pricing and orders

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are set by the SHG sellers.
• Your order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we confirm it (and, for prepaid orders, when payment is successfully captured).
• In the rare case of a pricing or stock error, we will contact you and fully refund any payment taken.
• An order may be cancelled by the seller if the item becomes unavailable — you receive a full refund as per the Refund Policy.

4. Payments

• Online payments (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets) are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
• We never store your card, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials on our servers.
• Cash on Delivery (COD) is available across serviceable PIN codes.
• Order amounts shown at checkout are final; totals are re-verified securely on our servers before payment.
• Payments are confirmed only after server-side verification with the gateway; failed or unverified payments leave the order unpaid and retryable.

5. Shipping and returns

Shipping timelines, charges and free-shipping thresholds are described in the Shipping Policy. Returns, replacements and refunds are described in the Return and Refund Policies. Those policies form part of these Terms.

6. For SHG sellers

• SHGs and entrepreneurs register on SHGeshop and manage their own storefront, listings, stock and fulfilment.
• Sellers must provide accurate product information, honour the published policies and ship orders in good time.
• Seller earnings are settled on a regular cycle, with a transparent record of every order and payment in the seller dashboard.
• SHGeshop may withhold settlement or suspend a storefront pending resolution of repeated disputes or policy violations.

7. Intellectual property

Product photographs, descriptions and the SHGeshop platform are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. SHG sellers retain the rights to their own craft and content; by listing on SHGeshop they grant us the licence needed to display and promote their products on the platform.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHGeshop's liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version displayed on this page, along with its “Last updated” date, is the version that applies to your use of SHGeshop.
