Sadhi Puran Poli is the most popular and classic version of Puran Poli in Maharashtra. It’s a soft, sweet flatbread made by stuffing a rich filling of chana dal, jaggery, cardamom, and nutmeg inside a wheat flour dough, then roasted on a tawa with ghee or oil.
Prepared especially during festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Gudi Padwa, it’s a comforting traditional dish loved by all generations.
